Panther Camp will take place August 1st and 2nd. Board members will need to volunteer on those two days. GS will send an email with specific time blocks for members to sign up to volunteer during Panther Camp.
GS presented members with a copy of the Conflict of Interest Annual Policy Statement for signatures. Each member listed above voluntarily signed the form.
EV reviewed the financials. Booster Club $20,851.72 balance after scholarship checks. The coaches balance is $58,266.74. The annual financials must be posted on our website by September 1, 2019. The annual audit (financial) date is scheduled for Thursday, August 22, 2019 at 6:00 pm at Skeeters.
A lengthy discussion took place regarding resetting passwords for the Booster Clubs Twitter account, main email account, etc. TS is having a difficult time accessing the various accounts due to the password issue. It is agreed that TS and EV will work together to remedy this issue.
LR discussed staff shirts for K-Park. She was quoted an approximate price of $4,100.00 for K-Park’s entire staff plus 9 booster club board members. LR displayed a copy of last year’s Fall Program for discussion. It is recommended that we need to expand the fall programs to include more groups. GS will help coordinate with LR for the 2019-2020 school year. It is agreed that the booster club will purchase an add in the program congratulating K-Park’s volleyball team for winning the state championship this past school year. GS asked if we would like to consider selecting a scholar athlete of the week/month next year. The idea was presented to him by a previous member. We will discuss later.
Whataburger would like to do a partnership with K-Park athletics. GS read the details of the proposal. A lengthy discussion regarding accepting the proposal took place. We will not vote on it at this time. We will give the proposal to Coach Maples for review and changes; he will need to discuss and get buy-in from the other coaches at K-Park before moving forward with the Whataburger contract/agreement.
